It’s Midnight Again

Why am I awake? I so understand Carter’s reluctance to go to sleep. He’ll fight it to the last minute and sometimes I do the same thing – I think I just really prefer to be awake at night. Or maybe now it’s because the house is soooooo quiet right now. Who knows.

Tomorrow is the first day of August. Only twenty-five more days until our vacation and mentally I’m already halfway there. I try not to live for what is to come and instead live for what is here, but that’s hard when you’re looking forward to a vacation. I just keep thinking if I can hang on until then….ha ha ha

I’ve often written about Carter’s michevious behavior so I feel the need to tell you how wonderful he’s been lately. He has calmed down so much and is listening better and getting better at following directions. Someone please remind me of this after gymnastics tomorrow. ;) He’s even been really sweet with Gracey Grace.

I’m sure that I’ve just completely jinxed myself. Crap. Wonder what’s going to happen tomorrow.

By the way, I feel like my posts have gotten so boring and watered down lately. I really just don’t have much to say. I think it may be time for another round of Q & A. That is, if anyone is still actually reading. ;)

    Sorry – I don’t catch ya every day, but stop in from time to time! I know what you mean about the whole ginxing thing! It happens all the time here! I say, Oh Nico is being so good today and the next thing that happens – holy hell!! Good to hear Carter’s doing well. Gymnastics is fun – Nico took that too!!
